HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

My fee for an individual 50 minute session is $150 and my fee for couples is $170. I am able to offer some sliding scale slots depending on financial necessity.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

While I am not in network with any insurance companies, other than San Mateo County Mental Health, I am happy to submit a claim on your behalf as a courtesy for our sessions. Many insurance companies will provide partial reimbursement to my clients.

HOW LONG IS THERAPY?

Each individual session runs between 45-50 minutes. Couples sessions are 60 minutes. I recommend when first beginning therapy that clients come weekly, depending on availability and level of need. The length of time in therapy can vary significantly. It is important to remember that it is a commitment to yourself and to the process. Some are only in therapy for a brief period of time, and others find it beneficial to continue meeting in some capacity over a long period of time.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?

I have a 48 hour cancellation policy. That gives me enough time to fill the empty slot. Late cancellations and no shows will be responsible for the fee.
